This post takes a timeout from my normal blog posts that are usually about writing and myself. Because today is not about me. It is about somebody very dear to me. Somebody that without whom, the book I am attempting to write would have vampires in it. Somebody who grills me about the details of my life. Somebody who inspires me with her willingness to be brave even when she is afraid. Somebody who I have always looked up to and will always look up to, because even though I put forth a great effort, I have never been taller than her. Somebody who would wake me up in the middle of the night so she wouldn't be alone in the dark. Somebody who can always make me laugh. Somebody who I am very proud to be related to...
