I am the next...American Idol!

Yep. For the second season in a row, I'm hooked on American Idol. I've watched off and on different times, but starting last year when I was hooked on Lee Dewyze, I'm a regular viewer.



I wasn't sure how I would like AI (American Idol) without Simon. He is harsh, but honest. And you know what? I LOVE IT! I love Steven Tyler. I love Jennifer Lopez. And I love how the Dawg, Randy Jackson, has taken over Simon's honesty chair. I love their dynamic!!

I missed Tuesday night's episode where the Top 12 guys sang. There was a UK Wildcats game, and if you aren't aware (see post below), that trumps everything. But I did see last night's episode with the Top 12 girls. And I voted. 5 times. My favorites are Lauren Alaina and Pia Toscano.

 I love them both. They are soo different, so it is hard to compare them. Lauren is young, talented, and a firecracker. She is definitely country and belted out Reba's song like no other. Awesome!

Pia, on the other hand, has a voice that I can only dream to have. She sang with such rich vocals, like she has been singing in front of a crowd her entire life. Amazing!

 

I can't wait to see next week. Hopefully I can get caught up on how the boys sang! I hear they had some talent too!
