Seriously?

Remember that little post I did a few times about the dumb stuff people do? Well, it's baaaaaack! Grab a drink, pull up a chair, and get ready to shake your head in amazement at the stuff people do that annoy the piss out of me.

1. I called a customer to tell them their vehicle would be finished at 10 tomorrow. Their reply? "Morning?" I pause. Well.....we close at 5. I highly doubt you are special enough for us to stay over an extra 5 hours to work on your vehicle.

2. We have a major car rental company chain in our offices. I do both. We only take credit cards just to keep it simple. I asked for the man's credit card. He said, "I have cash too." I reply, "I'm sorry, we only take credit cards. No cash." As I'm working on his rental he says, "You all don't take cash?" I say, "Nope. Only credit cards." After the computer system declines his card, he states, "Will you take this cash." HELLO?! If I said no the first and second time, I doubt I'll say the words, "Ya know, I was just kidding you earlier. We DO take cash! Sike!"

3. I'm the first person you see when you come into our door. Most of the time they ask for my dad, the boss. Many times, he is on the phone or with someone, so I tell them that and that he will be right out. What do they do? Barge right on into his office. Wait. Didn't I just say it would be a minute? If you are going to do that, why the hell do you think I'm sitting here?
