Bambi on Blu-Ray

Bambi (1942) was the last of Walt Disney's first five masterpieces before WWII and other financial obligations began to force him to cut back on his monumental vision. Like the others before it, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Pinocchio (1940), Fantasia (1940), and Dumbo (1941), it's really quite a bit richer and darker than it might appear on the surface. So far the first three of these titles have been released on Blu-Ray in just the past year, with Bambi fourth, and Dumbo apparently coming soon. Check out the preview above.
