Nicklas Bendtner back together with Danish ex fiancée – two weeks after splitting

They sensationally split up just seven weeks after she gave birth to their baby, but Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner and Baroness Caroline Luel-Brockdorff look as if they might be giving their relationship another shot.

Just two weeks after separating, the striker, 23 and his Danish royal ex, 36, have been spotted out together in London.

Bendtner tried to hide his face from photographers underneath a black scarf and cap as they strolled around Chelsea’s Kings Road in the rain.

Caroline, who is said to be worth more than £400million, showed off her amazing post-pregnancy figure in a black mini-dress and leopard print winter coat.

Bendtner and his ex-fiancée split after a short-lived 16-month relationship, with friends blaming its demise on the pressures of parenthood.

A friend of the couple recently told The Sun: ‘It was a whirlwind romance and they were madly in love – perhaps they did realise in the end they were poles apart in age and outlook.

‘The birth of a child can put a strain on any relationship but there seems to have been more pressure on them both recently in the last couple of weeks.’

But despite their troubles and thirteen year age gap, the parents might be ready for another shot at romance.

Caroline, who also has two other children from a former relationship, is said to have etched his name on her wrist during her time with Bendtner as a display of their deep love.

She was previously married to multi-millionaire Rory Fleming, son of James Bond creator Ian, with whom she has seven-year-old son Alexander and daughter Josephine, four.

However, even before the divorce, she was wealthy in her own right, being a member of the Danish royal family and even owning her own castle.

Meanwhile, footballer Nicklas earns £2.5million a year at the Gunners said at the time of Caroline’s pregnancy announcement: ‘We are indescribably happy and look forward to seeing our baby for the first time.’
