Excited About Spring

I love lists, so it makes sense that I would love a Top 5 list every once in awhile. And linking up is fun!

Today's topic is top 5 things I'm excited about for spring! This should be super easy, right!?

1. Lots of bright colors in the wardrobe.
When it's warm outside, I want to wear bright, cheerful colors!

2. Nights spent outside with friends.
It's just cool enough to sit around a fire pit, cocktails in hand, chatting with your besties. Perfect night.

3. Coral nails

I save coral (and other brights) for spring and summer. I'm currently sporting my favorite nail color (OPI's "My Chihuahua Bites").

4. Sandals!
 I don't bare my toesies until the weather is warm, and I was so excited to finally start wearing flip flops and sandals this spring!

5. Flowers

I love seeing my buttercups bloom, peonies start sprouting up from the ground, and the trees starting to get little green leaves on them. I bought some dahlias to put in planters on the porch, and I can't wait to get that done! Flowers mean spring is here, and I love it!

Top 5 Tuesday- Restaurants

I haven't done a real post in over a week, so I thought I would jump back in (mid-giveaway announcements) with this link up. I love link-ups. I really do.

Today's topic is Top 5 Restaurants. (This makes me hungry just thinking about it.)

Cheddars- Queso is  my absolute fave.

Shrimp and lobster? Yum.

Griff's Deli- a local spot that serves the best sandwiches, spuds, salads, and wraps.  

 

Hello, hibachi chicken, rice, and yum sauce.

A Little Taste of Texas- Another local favorite. I get the exact same thing every single time: Breast of Chicken Monterey. Chicken breast with mushrooms, onions, and the best white cheese ever. Delish!
