'Scream 4' Poster Debuts

The poster for Scream 4 has finally arrived, and it looks like a good one. I don't know... maybe I'm nuts but I'm looking forward to this one. I was not a fan of Scream 3, but loved the first two movies, and I generally love Wes Craven. I was one of the few critics that gave Cursed and My Soul to Take a fair shake. Craven is one of the few genre directors around that pays attention to things like physical space and atmosphere, and he has a definite cinematic personality that I like.

Not to mention that Neve Campbell was once one of my favorite actors before she suddenly disappeared. The last time I saw or reviewed one of her new feature films was James Toback's When Will I Be Loved all the way back in 2004. I have been hoping for a comeback for her. Maybe this is it.

Scream 4 seems at first glance like a desperate attempt to re-gain some box office credibility, but I really hope it works.
