Boca Juniors star Martin Palermo has taken aim at Argentina teammate Lionel Messi.
Palermo is unimpressed by the Barcelona superstar's leadership qualities.
"Messi is no Maradona," said Palermo. "For me, Messi does not have the mentality of Maradona. He's not ready for responsibility.
"He's not able to assume the role of conductor, because he is accustomed at Barcelona of having a system created for him.
"He doesn't have the life experience needed for leadership. He's been with Barcelona since he was 12 years of age. Do you know what Diego was doing at the same age?"
