Writing

I have set out on a path to be a writer. For a while I didn't know where to begin, searching my mind for the perfect story. There are many stories within my head, but the right one was what I was looking for. Then I realized something... if I never began, than the perfect story could never be written. Not even a story, whether good or not would be composed. So now, I've begun to write. Nothing great of course, but words on a page nonetheless. As Stephen King has said in this quote, to be a writer you must write and now I realize that I can't call myself a writer unless I have actually written something. Whether crap or a work of genius, writing is essential.
